VERÓNICA VIZCAÍNO CABEZAS
Verónica Vizcaíno graduated in English Studies from the University of Lleida. Subsequently, she completed the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, specialising in English, at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
She is currently working on her PhD in the Territory, Heritage and Culture programme at the University of Lleida. Her research focuses on the analysis of the intersection of age and gender in Jackie Kay's short narrative.
Recently, she has joined the CELCA-Dedal-Lit research group of the Department of English and Linguistics, where she explores gender and ageing studies. She is also part of the PRO-SUEDAD project, which focuses on profiguration, intergenerational relations and overcoming ageism through narrative.
In addition to her research, Verónica works as a part-time associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (DELILE) at the Univeristat de Lleida.
