Line 1: Literary Narratives

In this line of research of the project, an analysis will be made of the roles attributed to the different characters in the selected works as well as the relationships established between them. Specifically, the following will be analysed:

1- Plays by authors of different nationalities and social and cultural context with a clear intergenerational component.

2- Shows based on national and international dramaturgies and processes of creation of stage dramaturgy.

3- Selected sample of children's/youth/adult literature within the commercial circuit "grandparenthood in books".

The analysis of the roles attributed to the different characters in these works as well as the relationships established between characters will provide a solid base from which to work on intergenerational relationships and the problems encountered in different age groups in workshops and activities that will be organised on the basis of the compilation and analysis of these works.

The works will be analysed from the perspective of literary gerontology, as well as cultural studies and profigurative theory, disciplines from which an intimate relationship is established between cultural, educational and social contexts in relation to the questioning of the roles that a person must follow according to their age, gender, race or social condition.
