Main Aims

The project, shared by Grup Dedal-Lit and the GESEC group, has the following objectives:

- To analyse how creativity influences the maintenance and/or improvement of quality of life both in authors of recognised prestige and in older people who have initiated creative activities (creative storytelling).

- To study the reception of the works of well-known and older authors in "senior" groups, with special emphasis on texts dealing with issues related to old age.

- To compare the life narratives of senior citizens (students) who develop some creative activity (as for example in the subject of narrative creation of the university Senior Degree, or in groups of senior citizens who are users of other services or spaces, such as residences, municipal popular university, etc.).

- To identify how old age is reflected in the creative works of both "senior" participants and authors who continue to write at this advanced stage of life.

- To reflect on how the perception of old age and of oneself changes, or not, through creative activity (whether reading or writing).
