Participation in “Jornada Salut i Cultura”
On March 14 and 15, 2024, Fidel Molina and Maricel Oró participated in the “Jornada Salut i Cultura” organised by the Xarxa Vives, which took place at the UOC on March 14 and 15, 2024. Molina and Oró presented the ECAVINAR and PRO-SUEDAD projects, as well as their close relationship with the promotion of health and quality of life.

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION: A PLAY ON OLD AGE, DEPENDENCY AND CARE
On 24 October, the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work of the University of Lleida hosted a round table with professors Núria Casado, Fidel Molina and Anna Soldevila around the play Moríosby Anna Ricart, as part of the ‘Letras Sociales’ programme organised by the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The session was followed with great interest by students and teachers of Social Education and Social Work, as well as professionals from both sectors.

EXPLORING AGE AND IDENTITY IN LITERATURE: CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE 47TH AEDEAN CONFERENCE (SEVILLE)
A good number of participants from the literature section of the project took part in the 47th AEDEAN Conference, which was held at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville. Guillem Mas participated in the Renaissance Literature panel with his presentation, "On Ageing and Self-Realisation: A Comparative Study of Montaigne and Shakespeare through the Journey of Sir John Falstaff." Verónica Vizcaíno took part in the Short Stories panel with her presentation, "Borders of Age and Identity: Aging as a Migrant Woman in Jackie Kay’s Stories ‘Out of Hand’ and ‘Mrs. Vadnie Marlene Sevlon.’" Maricel Oró, Àngels Llurda, Núria Casado, Inesa Shevchenko, and Ieva Stoncikaite participated in the panel "Exploring Old Age and Gender through Ageing Studies in Contemporary Fiction," organized by members of the group.
