The closing ceremony of the PRO-SUEDAD and PRO-RIES projects
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the closing ceremony of the PRO-SUEDAD and PRO-RIES projects took place in the ‘Sala de Juntes’ of the Faculty of Education (FEPTS) at the University of Lleida. The day began with a welcome from the Dean of FEPTS, David Aguilar, followed by an engaging roundtable discussion on “Intergenerational Relationships and Ageism: From Theory to Practice,” with participants Joan Tahull, Anna Soldevila, Núria Casado, and Maricel Oró, addressing the interaction between generations in the various workshops and activities carried out during the projects.
Next, the conference “Redefining Intergenerational Bonds: Youth, Housing, and Care in the Digital Age” was held, delivered by Luís Ayuso from the University of Málaga and moderated by Fidel Molina Luque. The event provided a space to reflect on the current social situation among both young people and older adults, as well as the importance of profiguration in facing future challenges within an increasingly digital society.
With this event, the work and effort of the entire research team, who over the years have worked toward a more sustainable, intergenerational, and profigurative future, was officially concluded.
