MARICEL ORÓ PIQUERAS

Maricel-Oro

Maricel Oró-Piqueras es profesora Agregada en el Departamento de Lenguas y Literaturas Extranjeras (DELILE) de la Universitat de Lleida. También es miembro del grupo de investigación Dedal-Lit desde que este empezó a trabajar en imágenes de ficción de envejecimiento y vejez en 2002. Se especializa en estudios culturales y estudios de género. Ha diseminado su investigación en conferencias nacionales e internacionales y ha publicado artículos en revistas reconocidas dentro de estas áreas como son Journal of Aging Studies, Journal of English Studies, Critique: Studies in Contemporary Fiction y en colecciones internacionales de artículos de investigación. Es editora de Serializing Age: Aging and Old Age in TV Series (Bielefield: Transcript, 2016), junto a la Dra. Anita Wohlmann, y del N. 22 de la revista EJES titulado “Approaches to Old Age”, junto a la Dr. Sarah Falcus.
